The Nstimbi server was designed and developed in under six months, with the intent to create a bold statement piece, which would introduce the unique approach to design that uMugqa Studio has when creating products.
The Ntsimbi Server is a testament to the versatility of mild steel, a material celebrated for its adaptability and strength. The design process was driven by a fascination with the possibilities metal offers, from its structural capabilities to the textures and finishes it allows. Every element was crafted with intent, balancing boldness and subtlety. The unit’s name, derived from the isiZulu word for "metal," speaks to its essence—strong, enduring, and unapologetically modern.
Contrast plays a pivotal role in the Ntsimbi Server, with the interplay of colours and materials creating a visually engaging piece.
