Order Processing and Production Timeline  

Each of our products is crafted upon order to meet our high standards of quality and attention to detail. Once you place your order, it goes through a multi-step process, including payment confirmation, production, and assembly. This production phase can vary based on the item ordered and any customization requested. 

 

Production Lead Times

Each piece from UMUGQA STUDIO is carefully crafted upon order, using locally sourced materials. Production lead times vary depending on the item ordered and any customisations. We strive to meet these timelines, though they are subject to material availability from our suppliers:

  • Smaller Items (e.g., Qoqa Collection): 4 weeks
  • Larger Items: (e.g.., Nstimbi server units) 8 weeks

These production lead times do not include the standard 2-week shipping window once the product is completed.

 

Shipping Window

After the order is produced and assembled, our team will prepare it for dispatch. You can expect your order to be shipped within 14 days from the date it is ready. Shipping times may vary depending on your location within South Africa, but we partner with reliable couriers to ensure your order reaches you promptly and safely.

 

Delivery Notification and Tracking 

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to monitor its progress. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to be updated.

 

Shipping Fees 

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of the item(s) purchased. Any applicable taxes, customs, or duties are the responsibility of the customer and may be collected upon delivery.
